Boletus Mushrooms or “porcini mushrooms” are a food rich in B vitamins, such as B2 and B3, which help the body’s metabolism. They are also rich in potassium, magnesium and phosphorus which have the particularity of keeping our nervous system in excellent health.

Boletus mushrooms contain mostly water, about 90%, and for this reason it is a perfect food for those who choose to diet or otherwise want to be careful about what they eat.
It is interesting to know that in 100 grams of porcini mushrooms we find about 80 calories that can be reduced if the presence of water is greater. Dry boletus , however, should be soaked in water for 20-30 minutes before cooking to soften and expand. When they are ready, drain them well and use the water they have been in for soups or risotto.
Boletus, whether fresh or dried, can be added to almost any dish:

– if their hat is big, they can be filled with meat or rice;
